ive wanted to learn a thing or two about manual cameras too but then NO BUDGET!!!!! hahaha...
anyway, keep on churning out those fantastic fantastic shots!! :)
Well, manual digitals are cheap now...U can check out the Canon A Series...in particular the Canon Powershot A 95 ...matter the powershots are built for the prosumer so yeah it's worth a try...You will undoubtedly improve from there...they are about 600 bucks, cheaper than your ixus 500 i believe...the smaller it gets the more ex it is...don't fret you've got great shots yourself...i'm still learning as i go...so keep it going mate!
